Cringing on hearing him ranting I was waiting for him to say only shop in black own shops.

Re: AJ v Usyk
The carefully crafted image and the veneer finally slipped. Don’t suppose I blame him as he must feel the world has been against him and telling him he’s shit and an imposter for the last couple of years which is bound to be hard to hear, and he’s probably been told to keep the nice guy shiny teeth smile persona up at all costs.

He’s got really far and made lifetimes of money on a triumph of marketing and what talent he does have, so he shouldn’t grumble too much that he found his limit and was taken past it and maybe he’ll start to feel grateful on reflection.

Entertaining fight.

Forget the rant at the end - emotion, fatigue and pride showing through. Good to see he cares.

I’m not sure it’s possible to forget such an absolute shit show as that !? I can’t remember it ever happening before, it was like that wrestling bollocks, chucking the belts, storming out of the ring then making a dramatic return because you’re so far up your own arsehole you think the world wants to hear your rant.

They said post fight that someone in his camp should have taken the mic and told him to shut up, instead he was hung out to dry

Fury has said he’ll fight Uysk, could be a great fight

AJ is a classless prick

Entertaining fight.

Competitive but wouldn’t say overly close. Thought they were going to rob Usyk though. Joshua did well and should be proud of that.

You can’t hit what isn’t there and Usyk really is an incredible fighter. No shame in losing to him.

Still one of the top four heavyweights in the world which if you take a step back isn’t too bad. Sure we would all like to be top 4 in our fields so I think it’s unfair to knock his accomplishments.

Fury too big for Usyk and himself is someone whose movement is incredible.

I read the Gypsy King has to announce by Friday if he is retiring or not, if so he has to hand his belt back, so will know soon enough if Fury Usyk could happen. Where would it be held?

Re: AJ v Usyk
That was probably AJs best ever performance.

Then just as he was about to earn the respect he is clearly desperately craving he went on that ridiculous rant.

Re: AJ v Usyk
Joshua is joining this weird trend of US / UK sportspeople that, when they lose, they make it about themselves and expect people to feel sorry for them.

At least he didn’t pretend he was injured which is a tactic now too.

Re: AJ v Usyk
Even in R9 ( arguably Joshua’s best ) although he was throwing punches and dictating, very few were landing. As said before there’s no shame in losing to Usyk.

Re: AJ v Usyk
Should be nowhere for that American judge to go, what was he watching? Even if you were wearing AJ tinted specs Usyk delivered a lesson.

Seems like unless the decisions are taken away from the judges by a KO the corruption is laughable.

Proper toe curling stuff from AJ at the end.

Nowhere really for him to go now.

what the fuck was Hearn wearing last night, was he selling ice cream at ringside?

The meltdown was absolutely fantastic.

Needs to start working from home more next to a dog to improve his mental health, as he's clearly gor a screw missing somewhere.

Re: AJ v Usyk
Anthony Joshua taking the ringside microphone: "Usyk is one hell of a fighter. That’s just emotion.

"If you knew my story, you'd understand the passion. I’m not an amateur boxer. I was going to jail and I got bail and I started training. If I got sentenced, I wanted to be able to fight.

"It shows the passion we put into this. For this guy to beat me tonight, it shows the levels of hard work he must have put in so please give him a round of applause as heavyweight champion of world.

"They said that I’m not a 12-round fighter. I ain’t 14 stone, I’m 18 stone, I'm heavy. It’s hard work. This guy here is phenomenal."

Speaking to Usyk directly: "I was studying Ukraine and all the champions from your amazing country. I’ve never been there. What’s happening there, I don’t know but it’s not nice. For Usyk to be champion, under those circumstances, please raise your hands."

I can only assume the phrase "stay humble" will be removed from AJ's future speeches!
